...WIND ADVISORY NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL 2 AM CST /3 AM EST/
THURSDAY...
* WHAT...Southwest winds 20 to 30 mph with gusts of 40 to 50 mph.
A few gusts as high as 55 mph have been observed and remain
possible.
* WHERE...All of northern Illinois and northwest Indiana.
* WHEN...Until 2 AM CST /3 AM EST/ Thursday.
* IMPACTS...Gusty winds could blow around any objects that are not
adequately secured, including tent structures. Tree limbs could
be blown down and a few power outages may result. Travel will be
difficult for high profile vehicles.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Use extra caution when driving, especially if operating a high
profile vehicle. Secure outdoor objects.
