Illinois...Northeast Illinois and Northwest Indiana.

Weather hazards expected...

No hazardous weather is expected at this time.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday.

Tuesday...
Limited Non Thunderstorm Wind Risk.
Elevated Fire Weather Risk.
Wednesday and Thursday...
Limited Thunderstorm Risk.
Limited Non Thunderstorm Wind Risk, mainly on Wednesday.

DISCUSSION:

Gusty southwest winds, mild temperatures, and dry conditions
Tuesday afternoon will increase the risk for the more rapid
spread of any brush fires that develop in areas that have not had
a recent snowpack.

Periods of showers and possibly some thunderstorms are forecast
on Wednesday and Thursday ahead of a slow moving cold front. Heavy
downpours are possible, especially in any thunderstorms.

Strong southerly winds are expected on Wednesday, with gusts up to
35 to 45 mph.
