This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of North Central
Illinois...Northeast Illinois and Northwest Indiana.

.DAY ONE...Tonight.

Weather hazards expected...

Limited Thunderstorm Risk.
Limited Non thunderstorm wind Risk.

DISCUSSION...

Isolated to perhaps widely scattered thunderstorms are possible
mainly this evening through the early overnight. Any stronger
thunderstorms will be capable of producing heavy downpours and
possibly brief wind gusts of 40 to 50 mph. This would be favored
south and west of Chicago.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday.

Limited Non Thunderstorm Wind Risk.
Thursday night...
Limited Flooding Risk.
Limited Thunderstorm Risk.
Limited Non Thunderstorm Wind Risk.

DISCUSSION:

Southwest winds are expected to gust 35 to briefly 40 mph
Wednesday afternoon, especially around and east of I-55.

A strong low pressure system moving through the region Thursday
night may produce locally heavy rain and gusty northeast winds
Thursday night.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation will not be necessary through tonight.

GENERAL STORM MOTION OF THE DAY:

Moving toward the north and north-northeast at 40 to 50 mph.
