This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of North Central
Illinois...Northeast Illinois and Northwest Indiana.
.DAY ONE...Tonight.
Weather hazards expected...
Limited Thunderstorm Risk...with an associated:
Limited hail risk...up to 1 inch in diameter.
Limited damaging wind risk...up to 60 mph.
DISCUSSION...
Showers and thunderstorms will increase in coverage this afternoon
with the greatest concentration of activity generally southeast of
a line from Tonica, IL to Gary, IN. While widespread severe
weather is not expected, the strongest storms will be capable of
frequent lightning, winds strong enough to down tree limbs, and
hail large enough to dent cars. The threat for thunderstorms will
end this evening, especially after 10 PM.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday.

Limited Non Thunderstorm Wind Risk.
Elevate Fire Weather Risk.
Monday...
Limited Non Thunderstorm Wind Risk.
Significant Fire Weather Risk.

Limited Non Thunderstorm Wind Risk.

Elevated Fire Weather Risk.
Friday...
Elevated Fire Weather Risk.
DISCUSSION:
Warm temperatures and breezy winds are expected both Sunday and
Monday, with the strongest winds on Monday. Accordingly, Elevated
to Significant Fire Weather Risks will develop on both Sunday and
Monday.
.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
Spotters will not be needed this evening, though any reports of
severe weather would be appreciated.
GENERAL STORM MOTION OF THE DAY:
Moving toward east-northeast at 45 to 50 mph.
