This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of North Central
Illinois...Northeast Illinois and Northwest Indiana.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

Weather hazards expected...

Limited Thunderstorm Risk south.
Limited Non thunderstorm wind Risk.
Limited Fog Risk this afternoon.
Elevated Lakeshore Flood Risk late tonight.

DISCUSSION...

Areas of fog will continue through at least early this afternoon
for locations mainly along and south of I-80 in Illinois and along
the immediate Illinois lakeshore.

Northeast winds will increase into tonight, with gusts to 40 mph
late tonight. These winds will produce at least minor lakeshore
flooding beginning late tonight.

There is a chance for a few thunderstorms south of I-80. Severe
thunderstorms are not expected.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday.

Thursday...
Limited Flooding Risk.
Elevated Non Thunderstorm Wind Risk.
Elevated Lakeshore Flood Risk.

DISCUSSION:

Northeast winds will gust to 40 mph and possibly to 45 mph on
Thursday, continuing the threat of minor lakeshore flooding
through Thursday night.

Heavy rain is possible generally near and south of the Illinois
and Kankakee Rivers late tonight through Thursday, with the
potential for 1 to 2 inches of rain during this time.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation will not be necessary through tonight.

Moving toward the east-northeast at 50 mph.
