Illinois...Northeast Illinois and Northwest Indiana.
.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.
Weather hazards expected...
Elevated Fire Weather Risk south of Interstate 80.
DISCUSSION...
Gusty southwest winds, mild temperatures, and dry conditions will
increase the risk for the more rapid spread of any brush fires
that develop.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday.
Wednesday and Thursday...
Limited Thunderstorm Risk.
Limited Non Thunderstorm Wind Risk, mainly on Wednesday.
DISCUSSION:
Periods of showers and possibly some thunderstorms are forecast
on Wednesday and Thursday ahead of a slow moving cold front. Heavy
downpours are possible, especially in any thunderstorms.
Strong southerly winds are expected on Wednesday, with gusts up to
35 to 45 mph.
