This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of North Central
Illinois...Northeast Illinois and Northwest Indiana.

Weather hazards expected...

Limited Non Thunderstorm Wind Risk.

DISCUSSION...

Southwest winds will gust up to 35 to 40 mph this afternoon.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday.

Thursday Night...
Elevated Non Thunderstorm Wind Risk.
Elevated Lakeshore Flood Risk.
Limited Flooding Risk, mainly southeast of I-55.
Limited Thunderstorm Risk, mainly southeast of I-55.

Friday Morning...
Elevated Lakeshore Flood Risk.

DISCUSSION:

A rapidly strengthening area of low pressure will track across
central or northern Indiana on Thursday night. As a result, strong
northerly winds gusting up to 45 mph or more are becoming
increasingly likely from southern Lake Michigan southward to
eastern Illinois and northwest Indiana. Lakeshore flooding impacts
are also becoming increasingly likely, especially along the
Indiana shore, and possibly the Cook County shore. Finally,
periods of moderate to heavy rainfall may cause ponding on some
roadways.
