This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of North Central
Illinois...Northeast Illinois and Northwest Indiana.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

Weather hazards expected...

Elevated Flooding Risk.
Limited Thunderstorm Risk.
Limited Fog Risk.

DISCUSSION...

Moderate to heavy rain will end across far northern Illinois by
mid morning, with localized mainly low impact flooding possible.

Areas of fog, possibly dense, may develop near the lake front
today.

Rain and some embedded thunderstorms are expected to expand
across the area this evening and continue into overnight. Some
locations south of I-88 are likely to receive one to two inches
of rain, though it is uncertain how widespread those higher rain
amounts will be. If those amounts are widespread, a flooding
threat will likely develop, including rising streams and rivers
into Thursday.
