This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of North Central
Illinois...Northeast Illinois and Northwest Indiana.

.DAY ONE...Tonight.

Weather hazards expected...

Limited Thunderstorm Risk.
Limited Flooding Risk.
Limited Non thunderstorm wind Risk.
Elevated Lakeshore Flood Risk...Cook and Lake IL Counties.

DISCUSSION...

A strong storm system will continue to produce periods of moderate,
to at times heavy, rain through this evening. A few embedded
thunderstorms will also be possible this evening. Widespread
rainfall amounts up to around two inches, with locally
higher amounts, may result in some instances of flooding in
addition to renewed significant rises on area streams and rivers
into next week.

Strong and gusty onshore winds later this evening will also bring
a threat for dangerous wave action and flooding along the Cook and
Lake County IL lakeshores.

A period of strong westerly winds will develop late tonight, with
gusts up to 50 mph possible south of the Kankakee River Valley.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday.

Tuesday through Thursday...
Limited Snow Risk, mainly at night.
