This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of North Central
Illinois...Northeast Illinois and Northwest Indiana.
.DAY ONE...Tonight.
Weather hazards expected...
Limited Snow Risk.
DISCUSSION...
Rain is expected to transition to a rain snow mix, and briefly
all snow, after midnight along and northwest of a Dixon to
Woodstock Illinois line. Light snow accumulations under one inch
are possible, mainly on grassy surfaces.
Flooding will continue on several area rivers this week.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday.
Tuesday through Wednesday...
Limited Snow Risk, mainly at night.
Thursday...
Elevated Snow Risk.
DISCUSSION:
An unsettled weather pattern will set up with several rounds of
mainly light to moderate precipitation expected into the middle
of the week. A stronger storm system will impact the region on
Thursday and Thursday night with a mix of rain and snow, and snow
accumulations possible in portions of northern Illinois.
