This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of North Central
Illinois...Northeast Illinois and Northwest Indiana.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

Weather hazards expected...

Limited Thunderstorm Risk.
Limited Flooding Risk.
Limited Non thunderstorm wind Risk.
Elevated Lakeshore Flood Risk...Cook and Lake IL Counties.

DISCUSSION...

A strong storm system is expected to bring a period of moderate to
at times heavy rain to the area this afternoon and evening. Some
embedded thunderstorms will also be possible this evening.
Widespread rainfall amounts of one to two inches, with locally
higher amounts, may result in isolated instances of flooding in
addition to renewed significant rises on area streams and rivers
into next week. See the ESFLOT for additional information.

Strong and gusty onshore winds later this evening will also bring
a threat for dangerous wave action and flooding along the Cook and
Lake County IL lakeshores.

Tuesday through Thursday...
Limited Snow Risk.
