This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of North Central
Illinois...Northeast Illinois and Northwest Indiana.
.DAY ONE...Tonight.
Weather hazards expected...
Elevated Frost Risk.
DISCUSSION...
Frost is expected tonight northwest of a line from Waukegan to
Aurora to La Salle.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday.
Friday night...
Significant Frost and or Freeze Risk.
Saturday...
Limited Flooding Risk.
DISCUSSION:
Widespread frost with some area of sub-freezing temperatures are
expected across much of the area Friday night. This will
effectively end the growing season across northern Illinois and
northwest Indiana.
A period of moderate, to possibly at times heavy, rain is
possible across the area later Saturday and into Saturday night as
a strong storm system impacts the area. Runoff from this rainfall
could result in some significant rises on area streams and
rivers.
