The National Weather Service in Chicago has issued a
* Flood Warning for
The Fox River at Algonquin Lock & Dam tailwater, or from Johnsburg
downstream to Red Gate Road in St. Charles.
* from Wednesday afternoon to late Saturday night.
* At 830 PM Monday the stage was 9.2 feet.
* Flood stage is 9.5 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...Rise above flood stage by Wednesday afternoon and
continue to rise to near 9.7 feet by Thursday afternoon.The river
will fall below flood stage by Saturday evening.
* Impact...At 9.5 feet...Boathouses threatened along the river in
Cary.
