This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of North Central
Illinois...Northeast Illinois and Northwest Indiana.
.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.
Weather hazards expected tonight...
Limited Thunderstorm Risk.
Limited Flooding Risk.
DISCUSSION...
Showers, and possibly a thunderstorm, are likely across the area
tonight. Severe weather is not expected, though some locally heavy
rainfall is possible.
Otherwise, river levels across northern Illinois will remain
elevated, with flooding occurring on several rivers.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday.
Friday...
Limited Morning Flooding Risk.
Limited morning Thunderstorm Risk.
Limited nighttime risk of Frost and Freeze.
Saturday...
Limited early morning risk of Frost and Freeze.
Limited Non Thunderstorm Wind Risk.
River levels across northern Illinois will remain elevated, with
flooding occurring on several rivers.
DISCUSSION:
A strong cold front will push across the area Friday morning. As
it approaches there will continue to be a chance for a few heavy
rain producing showers and thunderstorms during the morning.
Behind the front, breezy west winds will result in falling
temperatures Friday afternoon and evening. Temperatures could fall
to around freezing late Friday night into early Saturday morning,
especially over north central IL.

Spotter activation will not be necessary through tonight.
