The National Weather Service in Chicago has issued a
* Flood Watch for
The Fox River at Algonquin Lock & Dam tailwater, or from Johnsburg
downstream to Red Gate Road in St. Charles.
* from late Thursday night until further notice.
* At 7:30 PM Tuesday the stage was 8.8 feet.
* Minor flooding is possible.
* Flood stage is 9.5 feet.
* Forecast...Flood stage may be reached by early Friday morning.
* Impact...At 10.0 feet...Winaki Trail and Onaway Trail are threatened
south of Algonquin.
