THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR NORTH CENTRAL ILLINOIS...
NORTHEAST ILLINOIS AND NORTHWEST INDIANA.

.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight.

WEATHER HAZARDS EXPECTED:
Elevated Thunderstorm Risk...with an associated:
Elevated Hail Risk...up to quarter size.
Elevated Thunderstorm Wind Damage Risk...up to 60 MPH.

DISCUSSION:

Isolated thunderstorms could develop this afternoon, mainly south
of I-80 and near the lake. If any storms develop this afternoon,
it is unlikely they would become severe.

Additional thunderstorms could move south from Wisconsin into
northern Illinois late this evening or more likely overnight. In
general, it appears likely that these storms will be in a
weakening phase as they arrive, though could still pose some risk
of large hail or damaging winds, especially near the Wisconsin
border.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday.

Friday through Wednesday...
Occasional low chances for Thunderstorms, least likely Saturday.

Spotters will likely be may be needed after 10 pm.

Moving southeast at 15 mph, increasing to 20 to 25 mph.
