THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR NORTH CENTRAL ILLINOIS...
NORTHEAST ILLINOIS AND NORTHWEST INDIANA.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

WEATHER HAZARDS EXPECTED:
Significant Thunderstorm Risk...with an associated:
Limited Tornado Risk.
Limited Hail Risk...up to quarter size.
Limited Thunderstorm Wind Damage Risk...up to 60 MPH.
Limited Flooding Risk.
Elevated Excessive Heat Risk.

DISCUSSION:

Morning rain and thunderstorms will diminish and shift southeast
of the area. New thunderstorm development is expected this
afternoon especially south of Interstate 80. Some of these storms
may be capable of producing isolated large hail and damaging
winds. Locally heavy rainfall will be possible with storms this
afternoon, mainly south.

In addition, flooding will continue along portions of the Des
Plaines, Fox, and Kishwaukee rivers.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday.

Sunday...
Elevated Severe Thunderstorm Risk.
Tuesday through Friday...
Limited Thunderstorm Risk.

In addition, flooding will continue along portions of the Des
Plaines, Fox, Kishwaukee, Rock, and Pecatonica rivers.

Spotters may be needed this afternoon, mainly south of I-80.
