THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR NORTH CENTRAL ILLINOIS...
NORTHEAST ILLINOIS AND NORTHWEST INDIANA.

.DAY ONE...Tonight.

WEATHER HAZARDS EXPECTED:
Elevated Thunderstorm Risk...with an associated:
Limited Thunderstorm Wind Damage Risk...up to 50 to 60 MPH.
Elevated Flooding Risk.

Flooding continues along many area rivers.

DISCUSSION:

Scattered thunderstorms are expected to develop over portions of
northern Illinois and northwest Indiana this evening, and then
continue through tonight. There is a low risk for isolated strong
to severe thunderstorms this evening across portions of northwest
and north central Illinois. Gusty winds are the primary threat.
In addition, there is the potential for locally heavy rainfall and
localized flooding. At this time, the highest threat is south of
I-80.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday.

Thursday...
Significant Thunderstorm Risk.
High Swim Risk.
Tuesday...
Limited Thunderstorm Risk.

Flooding will continue on many area rivers and new rises are
possible if heavy rain occurs tonight.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotters may be needed early this evening in portions of
northwest and north central Illinois.
