The Fox River at Algonquin Tailwater.
* until further notice.
* At 930 AM Wednesday the stage was 12.2 feet.
* Flood stage is 9.5 feet.
* Recent activity...Flood forecasts for Algonquin were moved to this
location on July 5 2011. Gage zero datum is different from the old
gage location. Flood and action stages have changed.
* Major flooding is occurring and Major flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...The river will continue to fall to a stage of 11.9 feet
by Thursday morning.
