NORTHEAST ILLINOIS AND NORTHWEST INDIANA.
.DAY ONE...Tonight.
WEATHER HAZARDS EXPECTED:
Limited Thunderstorm Risk.
DISCUSSION:
Isolated to scattered thunderstorms are possible south
and west of Chicago into early evening. Slow storm movement
may lead to ponding of water on roadways and isolated flooding.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday.
Thursday...
Limited Flooding Risk.
Elevated Severe Thunderstorm Risk.
Friday through Tuesday...
Limited Thunderstorm Risk.
DISCUSSION:
There is a chance for some isolated to scattered thunderstorms
later Thursday afternoon but the better chance will be later
Thursday evening into early Thursday night. There is a chance for
some strong to severe storms, especially across north central
Illinois, with the better chances further north. Strong winds and
large hail would be the main hazards.
.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
Spotter activation is not anticipated this evening but reports of
heavy rainfall are appreciated.
