At 145 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain had fallen across
the warned area. Flash flooding is already occurring.
Some locations that could experience flooding include...
Arlington Heights, Evanston, Schaumburg, Palatine, Skokie, Des
Plaines, Mount Prospect, Hoffman Estates, Glenview, Buffalo Grove,
Carpentersville, Wheeling, Park Ridge, Northbrook, Mundelein,
Algonquin, Highland Park, Wilmette and Vernon Hills.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
