THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR NORTH CENTRAL ILLINOIS...
NORTHEAST ILLINOIS AND NORTHWEST INDIANA.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT.

THERE IS AN INCREASED RISK OF RIP CURRENTS ALONG THE INDIANA SHORE
OF LAKE MICHIGAN THROUGH THIS EVENING.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...THURSDAY THROUGH TUESDAY.

THERE IS THE POTENTIAL FOR PERIODIC THUNDERSTORMS FROM THURSDAY
NIGHT THROUGH SATURDAY.

HOT...HUMID WEATHER WILL RETURN TO THE REGION THIS WEEKEND AND
WILL CONTINUE INTO EARLY NEXT WEEK. EARLY INDICATIONS ARE THAT
DAYTIME HIGH TEMPERATURES WILL BE IN THE UPPER 80S ACROSS MUCH OF
THE OUTLOOK AREA SATURDAY...AND IN THE LOWER 90S SUNDAY THROUGH
TUESDAY. PEAK AFTERNOON HEAT INDEX VALUES BETWEEN 100 AND 110
DEGREES ARE POSSIBLE SUNDAY INTO TUESDAY.
