THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR NORTH CENTRAL ILLINOIS...
NORTHEAST ILLINOIS AND NORTHWEST INDIANA.

.DAY ONE...TONIGHT.

LITTLE RELIEF FROM DANGEROUS HEAT AND HUMIDITY IS EXPECTED
TONIGHT. OVERNIGHT LOWS WILL RANGE FROM THE UPPER 70S IN MANY
AREAS TO THE LOWER 80S IN THE CORE OF THE CHICAGO URBAN REGION.

DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...THURSDAY THROUGH TUESDAY.

DANGEROUS HEAT AND HUMIDITY WILL CONTINUE ACROSS MUCH OF THE
REGION THURSDAY...THOUGH A LAKE BREEZE MAY BRING SOME AFTERNOON
RELIEF TO PARTS OF THE CHICAGO AREA AND A COLD FRONT WILL
EVENTUALLY SETTLE ACROSS THE REGION THURSDAY EVENING. HIGH
TEMPERATURES WILL BE IN THE MID TO UPPER 90S...WITH HEAT INDEX
VALUES RANGING FROM 100 TO 115 WITH HIGHEST VALUES LIKELY ALONG
AND SOUTH OF THE INTERSTATE 80 CORRIDOR.

THERE IS A CHANCE OF THUNDERSTORMS THURSDAY AFTERNOON INTO FRIDAY.
SOME OF THE STORMS THURSDAY NIGHT INTO EARLY FRIDAY COULD BE STRONG...
WITH THE POTENTIAL FOR WIND GUSTS TO 50 MPH AND LOCALLY HEAVY
RAINFALL WITH TOTALS IN EXCESS OF AN INCH.

THERE WILL ALSO BE PERIODIC CHANCES OF THUNDERSTORMS AGAIN
SATURDAY AND SUNDAY...AND AGAIN BY NEXT WEDNESDAY.
