A NORTHEAST TO SOUTHWEST ORIENTED LINE OF THUNDERSTORMS MOVING
EASTERLY AT ABOUT 40 MPH WILL TRACK ACROSS NORTHERN ILLINOIS
THROUGH 1000 AM. VERY HEAVY RAINFALL...WIND GUSTS TO AROUND 40 MPH
AND FREQUENT CLOUD TO GROUND LIGHTNING WILL OCCUR ALONG THE
LEADING EDGE OF THE LINE AS IT MOVES FROM NORTH CENTRAL ILLINOIS
INTO NORTHEASTERN ILLINOIS. BEHIND THE LEADING EDGE OF THE LINE OF
STORMS...MODERATE TO HEAVY RAINFALL AND OCCASIONAL CLOUD TO GROUND
LIGHTNING WILL CONTINUE THROUGH THE LATE MORNING WITH PONDING OF
WATER POSSIBLE WITH THE HEAVIER THUNDERSTORMS.
