Illinois...northeast Illinois and northwest Indiana.

Weather hazards expected...

Significant Excessive Heat Risk.
Limited Thunderstorm Risk Tonight...with an associated:
Level 1 of 5 Damaging Wind Risk...up to 60 mph.
Limited Flooding Risk Tonight.

DISCUSSION...

Expect another day of oppressive heat and humidity today with high
temperatures in the middle 90s and afternoon heat indices between
100 and 105 degrees.

A few thunderstorms may drift into portions of the area this
evening and overnight, mainly north of a Dixon to Woodstock line.
The strongest storms will be capable of frequent lightning, gusty
outflow winds, and heavy rainfall.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday.
