DISCUSSION...
Scattered thunderstorms are expected to develop across Illinois
portions of the forecast area late this afternoon and early
evening. Some of these storms may be strong to severe, with
damaging winds the main severe weather threat. Additional clusters
of thunderstorms may redevelop overnight. These storms may
produce torrential downpours, which could lead to localized
flooding.

will move through the area Wednesday evening. Strong to severe

addition to locally heavy rainfall.
