Illinois...northeast Illinois and northwest Indiana.

DISCUSSION...
There is a slight chance (around 15%) of a few isolated
thunderstorms over northeast Illinois and northwest Indiana this
afternoon, mainly east of a Crystal Lake to Kankakee and Lafayette
line. While no severe weather is expected, isolated wind gusts
gusts up to 45 mph may be possible with the strongest storms.

DISCUSSION...
There is a chance (30-40%) that a thunderstorm complex could move
into northern Illinois from the northwest Friday morning. Though
these storms would likely be in a weakening phase, they may still
be able to produce damaging wind gusts.
Hot and humid weather will develop this weekend into early next
week. Peak afternoon heat indices at or above 100 degrees are
expected for several days.
