This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of North Central
Illinois...Northeast Illinois and Northwest Indiana.

.DAY ONE...Tonight.

Weather hazards expected...

Elevated Lakeshore Flood Risk.
Limited Non thunderstorm wind Risk.

DISCUSSION...

Northerly winds will continue to gust to 35 to 40 mph into
early to mid evening, primarily near the Lake Michigan shore.
These will result in high waves up to 12 ft continuing along
the lakeshore, resulting in moderate lakeshore flooding and
exacerbating beach erosion due to high lake levels.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday.

Friday Morning...
Elevated Lakeshore Flood Risk.
Saturday...
Limited Non Thunderstorm Wind Risk.
Sunday...
Limited Non Thunderstorm Wind Risk.
Elevated Lakeshore Flood Risk in northwest Indiana.

DISCUSSION:

High waves will continue the risk of lakeshore flooding into
early Friday morning.

Gusty winds are expected this weekend, particularly Sunday
when gusts over 40 mph are becoming more likely. This will
also result in a lakeshore flood risk for portions of the
northwest Indiana shore.
