Illinois...Northeast Illinois and Northwest Indiana.
.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.
Weather hazards expected...
Limited Fog Risk east of I-57 this morning.
Elevated Lakeshore Flood Risk.
High Swim Risk
DISCUSSION...
Patchy fog may locally reduce visibilities to under 2 miles at
times east of I-57 this morning.
Gusty northeast winds will create high waves and dangerous
swimming conditions at Lake Michigan beaches. The high waves will
result in the potential for lakeshore flooding along the Illinois
Lake Michigan shore.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday.
Thursday...
Elevated Lakeshore Flood Risk.
High Swim Risk.
Friday through Sunday...
Limited Thunderstorm Risk.
DISCUSSION:
Breezy northeast winds will continue Thursday creating dangerous
swimming conditions at Lake Michigan beaches, as well as a threat
for minor lakeshore flooding along the Illinois shore.
