This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of North Central
Illinois...Northeast Illinois and Northwest Indiana.

.DAY ONE...Tonight.

Weather hazards expected...

Elevated Thunderstorm Risk late near I-39.
High Swim Risk through early evening.

DISCUSSION...

High waves will continue dangerous swimming conditions along
the northwest Indiana and parts of the northeast Illinois
lakeshore through early this evening.

Thunderstorms will likely moving into far north-central
Illinois during the predawn hours Some of these may be
approaching severe limits.

Limited Non Thunderstorm Wind Risk.
High Swim Risk for Lake County Illinois.
Monday...

Limited Thunderstorm Risk mainly at night.

Limited Thunderstorm Risk.
High Swim Risk.
Wednesday and Thursday...
Limited Thunderstorm Risk.
High Swim Risk.
Friday...
High Swim Risk.

DISCUSSION:

Showers and thunderstorms are likely across much of northern
Illinois and are possible over northwest Indiana on Sunday
morning. Some of these storms could be strong to marginally
severe with a threat for locally damaging winds and hail. These
storms will likely be on a gradual weakening trend.

Redeveloping storms are likely across southern Wisconsin late
in the day Sunday that will move into far northern Illinois in
the evening, and then potentially across much of the rest of the
area the rest of the night. These storms will bring a risk of
severe weather, including damaging winds, hail, and possibly a
few tornadoes mainly in far northern Illinois.

Thunderstorm chances are expected to continue through the middle
of the week. There also is potential for heavy rain at times,
especially over north central Illinois.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation is not expected through late tonight but may
be needed early Sunday morning.

GENERAL STORM MOTION OF THE DAY:

Moving toward the southeast at 40 mph.
