This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of North Central
Illinois...Northeast Illinois and Northwest Indiana.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

Weather hazards expected...

Limited Thunderstorm Risk...with an associated:
Limited damaging wind risk...up to 60 mph.
Limited Flooding Risk.
High Swim Risk northeast Illinois.

DISCUSSION...

Rain today will be heavy at times. While flash flooding is
unlikely, localized ponding on roads is probable in some areas,
along with temporary very low visibility within heavier showers.

Isolated thunderstorms within the widespread rain are expected
today. A few of these may produce wind gusts in excess of 45 mph
namely along and east of Interstate 57 this afternoon.

High waves will continue to create dangerous swimming conditions
along the northeast Illinois shore mainly north of Chicago
through mid afternoon.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday.

No hazardous weather is expected at this time.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation is not anticipated today.

GENERAL STORM MOTION OF THE DAY:

Moving toward the east-northeast at 45 mph.
