This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of North Central
Illinois...Northeast Illinois and Northwest Indiana.

.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight.

Weather hazards expected...

Limited Non Thunderstorm Wind Risk.
Elevated Fire Weather Risk
High Swim Risk northwest Indiana.

DISCUSSION...

Southwest to west winds will continue to gust 35 to locally 40 mph
through mid-afternoon ahead of a cold front. The gusty winds and
low relative humidity values will result in elevated fire weather
conditions through the remainder of the afternoon, mainly north of
I-80.

Strong northwest winds behind the cold front will produce
dangerous swim conditions along the southern shores of Lake
Michigan this afternoon through Friday morning.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday.

Friday...
Elevated Fire Weather Risk.
High Swim Risk in the morning northwest Indiana.
Saturday through Tuesday...
Limited Thunderstorm Risk.
