This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of North Central
Illinois...Northeast Illinois and Northwest Indiana.

.DAY ONE...Late This Afternoon and Tonight.

Weather hazards expected...

Limited Non-Thunderstorm Wind Risk.
Elevated Fire Weather Risk.
High Swim Risk for northwest Indiana.

DISCUSSION...

West to northwest winds will continue to gust 35 to locally 40 mph
until near sunset ahead of a cold front. The gusty winds and
low relative humidity values will result in elevated fire weather
conditions through sunset, mainly north of I-80.

Strong northwest winds will keep producing dangerous swim conditions
along the northwest Indiana shore of Lake Michigan this afternoon
through Friday morning.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday.

Friday...
Elevated Fire Weather Risk.
High Swim Risk for northwest Indiana in the morning.
Saturday...
Limited Thunderstorm Risk during the overnight.
Sunday...
Elevated Thunderstorm Risk.
Monday and Tuesday...
Limited Thunderstorm Risk.

DISCUSSION:

Dangerous swim conditions will persist along the northwest Indiana
shore Friday morning.

There is potential for some stronger thunderstorms very late Saturday
night into Sunday over the region.

Spotter activation will not be necessary through tonight.
