…ACCUMULATING SNOW THIS MORNING…
Periods of light, to occasionally moderate, snow will continue through the early morning commute today, before gradually tapering off by late morning. Before the snow ends, accumulations of 1 to 2 inches, with locally higher amounts around 3 inches, are likely. The highest amounts will be on grassy and elevated surfaces, especially along and north of I-80. While accumulations will be limited on area roads, poor visibilities along with some isolated slick spots will likely make for slower than normal travel across the area this morning. As a result, be prepared to take extra time to reach your destination this morning. </pre>
