This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of North Central Illinois…Northeast Illinois and Northwest Indiana.

Limited Excessive cold Risk.

DISCUSSION…

Areas that received significant snow cover from Sunday nights storm are expected to see temperatures drop into the single digits by sunrise Wednesday. Clearing skies, diminishing winds and deep snow cover will allow quick radiational cooling overnight.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN…Wednesday through Monday.

Limited Excessive Cold Risk.

Thursday…

Limited Ice Accumulation Risk.

Saturday…

Limited Non Thunderstorm Wind Risk.  Limited Lakeshore Flood Risk

There is a chance of light freezing rain Thursday night mainly south of Interstate 80.
