This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of North Central Illinois…Northeast Illinois and Northwest Indiana.

.DAY ONE…Today and Tonight.

Weather hazards expected…

Elevated Non thunderstorm wind Risk.  Limited Snow Risk.

DISCUSSION…

Periods of light, to occasionally moderate, snow will continue through mid to late morning before gradually tapering off by midday. Snow amounts will likely be on grassy surfaces, however, isolated slick spots on elevated surfaces and lesser used roads are possible. Strong west northwest winds will develop later today into tonight, with highest gusts as high as 35 to 40 mph expected tonight.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN…Saturday through Thursday.

No hazardous weather is expected at this time.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT…

Spotter activation will not be necessary through tonight.
