SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS...SOME MAY PRODUCE:
SMALL HAIL.
HEAVY RAIN.
FREQUENT CLOUD TO GROUND LIGHTNING.
AREAS AFFECTED AND TIMING:
ISOLATED TO SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS ARE POSSIBLE THIS
AFTERNOON...MAINLY SOUTH OF I-80. SHOWERS AND STORMS WILL SPREAD
NORTH AND LIKELY INCREASE IN COVERAGE TONIGHT.
DISCUSSION:
A COLD FRONT IS ALONG THE INTERSTATE 80 CORRIDOR LATE THIS
AFTERNOON. THUNDERSTORMS ARE POSSIBLE ALONG AND SOUTH OF THE
FRONT INTO THIS EVENING. AN UPPER LEVEL DISTURBANCE WILL MOVE
ACROSS THE AREA LATE THIS EVENING INTO TONIGHT LEADING TO
ADDITIONAL THUNDERSTORMS. LITTLE IF ANY SEVERE WEATHER IS
ANTICIPATED BUT SOME SMALL HAIL AND HEAVY DOWNPOURS ARE
POSSIBLE.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...TUESDAY THROUGH SUNDAY.
PERIODIC CHANCES OF THUNDERSTORMS EXIST THROUGH THE WEEKEND WITH
THE BEST CHANCES TUESDAY...AND FRIDAY THROUGH THE WEEKEND.
