NORTHEAST ILLINOIS AND NORTHWEST INDIANA.

WEATHER HAZARDS EXPECTED:

ISOLATED TO SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS...THE STRONGEST OF WHICH
MAY PRODUCE:
WIND GUSTS TO 50 MPH.
OCCASIONAL CLOUD TO GROUND LIGHTNING.
LOCALLY HEAVY RAINFALL.

AREAS AFFECTED AND TIMING:

ISOLATED TO WIDELY SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS WILL OCCUR ACROSS
NORTHERN ILLINOIS AND NORTHWEST THROUGH TONIGHT.

DISCUSSION:

ISOLATED TO WIDELY SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS WILL CONTINUE THE
REST OF TODAY AND TONIGHT. CONDITIONS IN GENERAL ARE NOT
FAVORABLE FOR ANY WIDESPREAD SEVERE WEATHER HOWEVER CANNOT RULE
OUT HIGHER WINDS WITH THE STRONGEST STORMS. LOCALLY HEAVY
RAINFALL AND PONDING OF WATER WILL BE THE GREATER THREAT.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SATURDAY THROUGH THURSDAY.

LARGE AND BATTERING WAVES WILL RESULT IN SOME MINOR LAKE SHORE
FLOODING SATURDAY AFTERNOON AND NIGHT...AS WELL AS HAZARDOUS
SWIMMING CONDITIONS THROUGH SUNDAY NIGHT.
