NORTHEAST ILLINOIS AND NORTHWEST INDIANA.

WEATHER HAZARDS EXPECTED:

SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS...SOME MAY PRODUCE:
SMALL HAIL.
HEAVY RAIN.
FREQUENT CLOUD TO GROUND LIGHTNING.

AREAS AFFECTED AND TIMING:

ISOLATED TO SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS ARE POSSIBLE THIS
EVENING...MAINLY WEST OF I-39. SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL
SPREAD NORTHEAST AND INCREASE IN COVERAGE TONIGHT.

DISCUSSION:

AN UPPER LEVEL DISTURBANCE WILL MOVE ACROSS THE AREA LATE THIS
EVENING INTO TONIGHT LEADING TO ADDITIONAL THUNDERSTORMS. LITTLE
IF ANY SEVERE WEATHER IS ANTICIPATED BUT SOME SMALL HAIL AND
HEAVY DOWNPOURS ARE POSSIBLE.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...TUESDAY THROUGH SUNDAY.

PERIODIC CHANCES OF THUNDERSTORMS EXIST THROUGH THE WEEKEND WITH
THE BEST CHANCES TUESDAY...AND FRIDAY THROUGH THE WEEKEND.
