Illinois...northeast Illinois and northwest Indiana.

Weather hazards expected...

Limited Excessive Cold Risk.
Limited Snow Risk.

DISCUSSION...

Wind chills of 0 to 15 below zero are expected late tonight into
Tuesday morning.

A period of snow late tonight through daybreak will result in a
coating up to 1 inch of snow, with the highest amounts focused
around Interstate 80, but potentially as far north as Interstate
88. This will lead to slowed travel for the morning commute.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday.

Limited Excessive Cold Risk.
Limited Snow Risk in the morning.
Wednesday morning...
Limited Excessive Cold Risk.
Sunday night...
Limited Excessive Cold Risk.

DISCUSSION...

A period of snow tomorrow morning is expected to produce a coating
up to 1 inch of snow south of Interstate 80 and east of Interstate
57. This will lead to slowed and slippery travel for the morning
commute.

Cold temperatures will continue to promote sub-zero wind chills
through Wednesday morning. After a brief warm up, sub-zero wind
chills are expected to return Sunday night into early next week.
