DISCUSSION...
Southwest winds will gust to 40 to 45 mph during the late morning
and afternoon with occasional gusts as high as 50 mph. The
strongest winds are expected near and north of the I-88 corridor.
There is a heightened risk for grass and brush fire spread this
afternoon due to the combination of strong winds, dry fuels, and
afternoon relative humidities as low as 25 percent.
