DISCUSSION...
A band of lake effect snow will produce slippery travel
conditions and rapidly changing conditions over Lake, Cook and
portions of Dupage Counties in Illinois through mid to late this
afternoon, and across portions of northwest Indiana this evening.
Freezing drizzle will also continue to mix in with the snow at
times across northeastern Illinois this afternoon. This will
create a light glazing on untreated and elevated surfaces.
