DISCUSSION...
Portions of the outlook area could see rainfall amounts of a half
inch to an inch Friday. Given the frozen ground, if close to an
inch of rain falls, it would likely result in minor flooding and
standing water in low lying and flood prone areas. In addition,
just a quarter to half inch of rain would likely result in rises
in area rivers, which could lead to isolated ice jam flooding.
The risk for isolated break up ice jam flooding could continue
over the weekend.
