DISCUSSION...
A period of strong winds is expected this afternoon into the early
evening. Peak gusts of 45 to 55 mph are likely late this
afternoon north of a Chicago to Freeport line. Strong winds with
peak gusts of 30 to 40 mph are likely south of that line.
Strong winds, dry conditions, and unseasonably mild temperatures
will result in a heightened fire danger this afternoon.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday.
No hazardous weather is expected at this time.
