Illinois...Northeast Illinois and Northwest Indiana.

Weather hazards expected...

Limited Thunderstorm Risk late tonight north of I-80.

DISCUSSION...

There is a small chance for a few thunderstorms late tonight
mainly north of I-80. Severe weather is not expected.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday.

Tuesday...
Limited Severe Thunderstorm Risk.
Tuesday Night and Wednesday...
Limited Severe Thunderstorm Risk.
Elevated Flooding Risk.
Thursday through Sunday...
Limited Thunderstorm Risk at times.

DISCUSSION...

A few strong to severe thunderstorms are possible Tuesday
afternoon and evening. Large hail and damaging wind gusts are the
main threats.

While uncertainty remains, slow-moving thunderstorms may develop
late Tuesday night into Wednesday. Heavy rain may result in flash
flooding. Another period of severe weather is possible on
Wednesday, especially for locations south of I-80.

Intermittent thunderstorm chances will linger through the
remainder of the week and into the weekend.

Spotter activation will not be necessary through tonight.
