Illinois...Northeast Illinois and Northwest Indiana.

Limited Thunderstorm Risk...with an associated:
Isolated Limited Damaging Wind Risk...up to 60 mph.
DISCUSSION...
Scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms across the Chicago
metro area and parts of northwest Indiana will gradually diminish
in coverage through late evening. The primary threats with
isolated evening storms will be for occasional cloud to ground
lightning, brief downpours and localized wind gusts to 30 mph.
Additional scattered showers and thunderstorms are expected to
move into northern Illinois after 10 pm. Some of these storms may
produce gusty winds of 30 to 40 mph, and a few storms generally
along and west of the I-39 corridor may produce localized wind
gusts in excess of 50 mph and small hail.
