This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of North Central
Illinois...Northeast Illinois and Northwest Indiana.

Weather hazards expected...

Limited Thunderstorm Risk this afternoon.

DISCUSSION...

Isolated to widely-scattered thunderstorms are possible this
afternoon and very early this evening, especially across portions
of northeast Illinois near the afternoon lake breeze boundary.
While severe weather is not expected, any thunderstorm may produce
cloud to ground lightning, brief downpours and wind gusts strong
enough to blow around light objects. Any isolated thunderstorms
should dissipate fairly quickly early this evening with the loss
of daytime heating.

DISCUSSION...

A cold front will move across the region Wednesday afternoon and
Wednesday night, with scattered thunderstorms expected. A few
strong to severe thunderstorms are possible, with damaging wind
gusts and large hail the main threats. Locally heavy rainfall is
also possible with some storms later Wednesday. A few storms could
linger into Thursday morning east of the I-55 corridor in
Illinois and northwest Indiana.
