This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of North Central
Illinois...Northeast Illinois and Northwest Indiana.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

Weather hazards expected...

Elevated Snow Risk.

DISCUSSION...

Snow will develop this morning. Slushy accumulations on roadways
including bridges and overpasses are expected during the morning
commute.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday.

Wednesday and Thursday...
Limited Snow Risk.

DISCUSSION:

Another period of accumulating snow is possible Wednesday into
Wednesday evening, primarily in northeast Illinois and northwest
Indiana. Accumulating lake effect snowfall transitioning into
parts of Lake and Porter counties in NW Indiana tonight and
Wednesday evening. Significant uncertainty in placement of a
potential dominant lake effect snow band.

Gusty snow showers are expected to develop across the rest of the
region Wednesday with additional "streaky" accumulations.

Spotter activation will not be necessary through tonight.
