This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of North Central
Illinois...Northeast Illinois and Northwest Indiana.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

Weather hazards expected...

Limited Thunderstorm Risk...with an associated:
Limited Hail Risk...up to quarter size.
Limited Damaging Wind Risk...up to 60 mph.
Elevated Non-Thunderstorm Wind Risk.

DISCUSSION...

Scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms are expected through the
early-mid afternoon, mainly along and northwest of Interstate 55.
A few storms may produce small hail and gusty winds, though an
isolated severe storm or two with quarter size hail and damaging winds
may also occur.

South winds will become breezy overnight and especially toward
daybreak Saturday.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday.

Limited Thunderstorm Risk.
Significant Non-Thunderstorm Wind Risk.

DISCUSSION:

Strong and potentially damaging winds are expected from the early
morning to sunset on Saturday. Wind gusts of 45 to 55 mph will
down tree limbs and move lawn furniture, and may lead to scattered
power outages.

Spotter activation will not be necessary through tonight.
