Illinois...Northeast Illinois and Northwest Indiana.

Weather hazards expected...

Elevated Snow Risk toward daybreak Tuesday.

DISCUSSION...

Snow is expected to develop toward daybreak Tuesday. Slushy
accumulations on roadways including bridges and overpasses are
expected during the Tuesday morning commute.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday.

Tuesday...
Elevated Snow Risk.
Wednesday and Thursday...
Limited Snow Risk.

DISCUSSION...

Snow is expected from daybreak Tuesday into Tuesday afternoon, and
will continue through early Wednesday morning in northeastern Illinois.
Slushy accumulations on roadways including bridges and overpasses
are expected during the Tuesday morning and evening commutes,
especially the latter in northeastern Illinois.

Another period of accumulating snow is possible Wednesday into
Wednesday evening, primarily in northeast Illinois and northwest
Indiana. Gusty snow showers with quick bursts of snow are
possible area-wide Thursday afternoon.
